Re: i am so hungry
I definately did NOT feel hungry after my surgery, in fact its been
months since then and I only occasionally feel hungry. What I
believe you have is what they call 'head hunger'. Our minds are
conditioned to want food (part of the reason we got this way in the
first place). I know its hard but try to have patience and I bet
once you see the pounds start coming off you will be soooo happy! I
would recommend that you have you family not eat around you right now
until you adjust. It may be the smells of the food that are getting
to you or the feeling of missing out. Also, this surgery is not
anything to take lightly. If you do not feel well you might want to
put a call into your doctor or nutrionists office and just check with
someone. That's what their there for. Keep us posted and hang in
there!

You are doing better than me for the fluids!
The gas and bloating continues for me, starting week 3. Some days
better than others. I have constipation, but the M.O.M. caused me
diarrhea for 36 hours, with tons of gas! Don't worry about the pain
meds. I worried also, but each day needed less, and the taste was
worse than the pain, so but Day 8 I wanted the Lortab no longer.
Everything in it's time.
I had one day when I felt starving. My hubby pureed up some chicken
for me and it wouldn't go down, even in cream of chicken soup. A few
popsicles made the hunger go away. Janet
